Junior Accountant

Maktabak is a co-working space in Cairo, Egypt leasing non-residential real estate (offices) overlooking the Nile.

• Work hours: 9 AM to 5 PM
• 5 days a week: including Saturday and an off day of your choice
• Start Date: March
• Junior Accountant to manage Maktabak’s finances. 
• Decent command of the English language.
• Primary responsibility: Accounting and Finance
• Secondary Responsibility: Community Management 
• Accounting services for Maktabak clients with further remuneration 
• In charge of payroll, petty cash, day to day finances, coordinating with tax consultants, ensuring accordance with Egyptian financial law and timely delivery of documents to tax consultant

Secondary Community Management responsibilities:

• Only when Community Manager is on vacations 
• Act as a liaison between Maktabak and its clients

• 1-2 years of experience. Fresh graduates to be considered as well.
• Graduated with distinction from Accounting/Finance major(s).
