Works independently taking full responsibility for a certain test area, assisting senior team
members. Maintains the status of the project and directs and monitors the work of junior team
members. Provides guidance to enable others. 

  • Co-ordinates work on multiple phases of a project and/or projects of moderate scope or possibly
    in more complex assignments.
  • Is involved in hands-on testing activities. Supports and works with QA Analysts.
  • Works on quality assurance projects using available test frameworks and tools and establishes
    plans for projects with on-time and on-budget project goals.
  • Responsible for a certain test area and conditions as well as results evaluation, problem
    resolution and planning.
  • Ensures compliance with testing best practices and standards.
  • Scopes and creates quality assurance plans, data, procedures, and scripts.
  • Scopes out and creates test coverage, designing specifications and defining conditions for given
    requirements. Maintains the integrity of the test environment.
  • Interprets, reviews and reports test activities and results in accordance with project plans.
  • Identifies test issues, reporting risks and defining regression tests for current and future projects
    and logs these as best practices and learning points.
  • Understands business end-to-end processes and participates in production verification and

  • 1 – 3 years of experience in SW testing – Banking domain.
  • Excellent – Fluent written and spoken English.
  • Flexible to work from home, onsite or client’s site.
  • Banking experience is a must (Internet Banking/Mobile Banking/Islamic Banking/Core Banking (Flexcube/Finacle/T24/Ethix/etc.)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems,
    or other related field, or equivalent work experience
  • ISTQB Foundation

  • Has good applications/technology knowledge, building on specialist domain knowledge and has
    practical experience of testing tools and frameworks required to deliver.
  • Good understanding of the software development process including analysis, design, coding,
    system and user testing, problem resolution and planning.
  • Experience in co-ordinating and monitoring the work of others in their responsible area.
  • Good people skills, with experience in supporting others in raising their performance and working
    out their development goals.
  • Experience in supporting team success and motivating others to keep morale and performance
  • Good self management. Can set and work to quantified goals and standards. Delivers by being
    aware of and considering the commercial impacts.
