Chief Accountant

Job Purpose: 

In charge of all accounting activities, Leading the accounting team, responsible for controlling daily operations, taxation, assisting in preparing financial and performance reports,  annual budgets preparation, and reviews

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the accounting team
• Conduct all necessary training to keep the team’s skills and knowledge up to date
• Ensure that all necessary documents are requested, collected, and compiled
• Advise business owners and individuals regarding the tax code
• Maintain and update vendors’ & customers’ master data
• Monitor and mentor/train junior staff, clerks, and bookkeepers
• Detect and address potential compliance issues proactively
• Maintain compliance with all state regulations at all times
• Maintain a highly organized archiving system for all accounting documents
• Work collaboratively with other teams to achieve shared goals

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related study 
• CMA is a MUST
• 10 to 15 years of experience
• Experience in F&B is a MUST
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Team player with strong organizational skills
