Job Title: Receptionist

Description: ■ Welcomes visitors by greeting them in person or on the telephone■ Manages all in person, phone, or email inquiries in a professional and courteous manner. Screens and directs the above to the appropriate contact person■ Maintains a welcoming, clean and professional reception area■ Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email■ Operates telecommunication system for reception phone and console operation■ Maintains cleanliness of conference rooms and coordinates room and HDVC bookings using the booking system■ Helping maintain workplace security by issuing, checking and collecting badges as necessary and maintaining visitor logs■ Arranges for meals or catering for client and internal meetings■ Liaises with building management on any maintenance requests■ Assisting with ad-hoc admin requirements of colleagues and clients within the office to a high standard■ Maintaining good working relationships with outside vendors■ Keep updated records and inventory of office administration such as invoices and stationary■ Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as printing, binding, filing,photocopying and scanning■ Support the office coordinator with admin tasks and general day to day running of the office
Qualifications:■ Fluent in Arabic and English■ Excellent telephone skills and etiquette■ Excellent organizational skills■ Strong client service orientation and advanced verbal communication skills.■ Ability to listen and to ask follow up questions as needed■ Hands-on experience with office equipment such as printers, laminators,projectors, tvs.■ Ability to multi-task, with the ability to prioritize and work under pressure■ Fluent in written and spoken English. Spoken and written Arabic is desired but not required.■ Willingness to learn and work well as a team member
BACKGROUND AND TRAINING■ 2+ years reception or related experience, ideally in a professional services environment■ Degree education required■ Strong knowledge in Microsoft Office
