Description: Responsibilities:
  • Support Infrastructure team in document control and other admin duties

  • Responsible for implementation of the document control strategy and provide consistent service delivery across the entire programme and/or projects

  • Provide support, guidance and training including training other users in system functionality, processes and procedures and batch uploading

  • Provide reports to detail the amendments and progression of documentation

  • Compliance monitoring for the publication of all documents into the chosen document management system, ensuring documents are in the correct format and with the correct status and metadata

  • Prepare and issue meeting minutes on a regular basis. Assist in issuance of meeting invites

  • To maintain appropriate levels of information about documents produced including storage locations, status, owners etc sufficient for regulatory requirements

  • Develop excellent working relationships with the client and the teams involved in the provision of services

  • Degree qualified or equivalent qualification

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Document Controller within a construction or engineering type environment responsible for systems, policy, protocols and processes

  • Administrator level experience of configuring at least 3 different industry standard document management systems 

  • Experience in some of the following sectors will be viewed favorably; infrastructure (rail, air, water), property major programmes and public sector/government

  • Demonstrable experience of client engagement at all levels including presentations, training, workshops and reporting

Able to introduce innovative approaches that can be used to improve performance, reduce costs, increase quality and improve business processes, and provide clear rationale and supporting data to justify solutions
