About the Job

  • To direct the Sales team and establish sales targets, help them in breaking the same geographically, monthly, weekly & daily targets.
  • Achieve yearly volume objectives and execute the sales annual operating plan by reflecting the market needs while managing/securing compliance to overall and by customer cost/case planned spending to pre-agreed budget.
  • To motivate and direct Sales team to establish coverage, distribution and display objectives,
  • B2B and institutional sales to meet sales targets.
  • To plan and implement national and regional sales promotion in consultation with marketing.
  • To analyze stock movement/availability
  • Help in developing long term pricing strategy to maximize variable margin through product/territory/ pack mix decisions.
  • Have a clear focus on new channels to build Distribution, Visibility and volumes.
  • Implements national sales programs by developing field sales action plans
  • Work out a training calendar for all players in the Sales Organization and implement the same.
  • Demonstrate ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees.
  • Build trust, value others, communicate effectively, drive execution, foster innovation, focus on the customer, collaborate with others, solve problems creatively and demonstrate high integrity.
  • Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet company core values.
  • Proactively establish and maintain effective working team relationships with all other teams and support departments.
  • Services existing & creating new accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.
  • Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
  • Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
  • Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
  • Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.
  • Organize, control and motivate managers & supervisors & representatives to achieve sales targets within the agreed profit margins.
  • Regular market visits to monitor changes in the market situation and communicate these fluctuations on the proper timing to the Regional Managers.
  • Ensure the company’s product promotional plans are understood from the sales force team.
  • Analyze customer needs and opportunities to design and develop best practice and execute in market place in collaboration with TM to maximize visibility and access points.
  • Train, develop and follow-up sales force compliance with company’s training plan to meet the current and long term needs of the sales departments.


Solid experience in the food industry (preferably in the tea business)

A strong experience in trade marketing

Experience:10 to 20 years
Salary: Negotiable
