Senior QMS Manager & Deputy Chief QMS Officer

Candidates with experience in Real Estate or Contracting will be given preference.

We are looking for a candidate who is PROCESS oriented (i.e., from a Process Improvement/ Re-engineering perspective AND/ OR able to design & draft PPPs from scratch) NOT a typical QA/ QC Engineer or Auditor.

Responsibilities

  1. Lead and contribute to the development and refinement of the department/ organization-wide Quality Management vision & strategy.
  2. Develop, design & sustain the Quality Management System (programs, systems, policies, processes, and procedures) through combining practical experience with
  3. Industry standards/ leading practices (i.e., Lean/ Six Sigma, ISO9000 family, etc.).
  4. Business needs/ requirements through existing OR developing new PPPs (Processes, Policies & Procedures).
  5. Ensure Quality culture and strategy are properly communicated and understood throughout the organization, to ensure a proper and efficient implementation of Quality PPPs (Processes, Policies & Procedures).
  6. Work closely with various departments and cross-functional process owners to provide process analysis oversight on a continuous basis to enforce requirements, meet regulations and embed a system of continuous improvement.
  7. Assist or take the lead in developing/ designing organizational wide PPPs (Processes, Policies & Procedures).
  8. Ensure process improvements initiatives/ projects are planned, executed, and reviewed as needed for continuous improvement.
  9. Devise QMS review plans, lead their executions, and validate reports findings, recommendations, and conclusions (specifically from a Process Improvement perspective).
  10. Prepare QMS reports and/or necessary.
  11. Lead external audit/ inspection preparation and liaise with certification bodies (ISO auditors/ inspectors) through all stages.
  12. Review external audit results and reports to ensure that –
  13. All nonconformities raised are effectively corrected and independently verified.
  14. Recommended corrective actions and opportunities for improvement were delegated to concerned parties for the efficient implementation of what is required.
  15. Assist the Chief QMS Officer in attracting, hiring, training, and retaining a team of highly technical and performing QMS professionals.

Qualifications:

Skills and Competencies

  1. Ability to liaise and interface with Executive and Senior Management in reviewing business issues and plans.
  2. In-depth knowledge and practical experience of QMS standards and techniques such as –
  3. ISO9000 family, etc.
  4. Lean sigma and Six Sigma principles.
  5. Strong Process Improvement & Re-engineering capabilities
  6. Creative & out of the box problem solving capabilities.
  7. Strong capabilities in developing operational PPPs (Processes, Policies & Procedures).
  8. Demonstrated quantitative/ qualitative analytical skills and development of quantitative/ qualitative analysis of business issues.
  9. Organizational skills and ability to execute tasks under challenging circumstances, including skills in planning, scoping, and delivering engagements/ assignments and conducting project work.
  10. Strong presentation skills, communication and report writing skills.
  11. Technology Proficient (MS Office, Visio, etc.).

 

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Accounting, Finance or Business Administration from a reputable university.
  2. Professional Certification such as (ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, Six Sigma Certification Green/ Black or Master, etc.) would be a great advantage.

 

Experience

  1. Candidates with experience in Real Estate or Contracting will be given preference.
  2. 10 to 15 years of QMS experience with at least 5 years on a Managerial level.
  3. Demonstrated experience in problem solving, Process Improvement/ Re-engineering.
  4. Experience in developing operational PPPs.
  5. Demonstrated experience in conducting quantitative/ qualitative analysis.
  6. Experience leading cross-functional teams.
  7. Experience working in a highly regulated environment.
  8. Experience in designing quality assurance programs.
