Description: To champion and lead the training and development initiative in URC and other areas as defined by the HR Management, conduct training needs analysis, identify and define training goals, plan and design curricula for training programs and evaluate desired training outcomes. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:HR Management:·     Assists on the planning, development and implementation of the HR strategy with a specific accountability for training and development initiatives·     Provides HR support services to the business and staff and may serve as a point of contact for all training activities and tasksTraining and Development:·     Conducts training needs analysis to understand the need for different behavioural and technical training requirements and accordingly develops a list of trainings required by URC and creates the annual training calendar for the organisation·     Studies previous training records and performance management development plans, and lists identified training needs, conducts gap analysis to suggest training courses and programs·     Ensures smooth execution of the induction  training for the new hires ·     Manages documentation, colleague records related to training & development through URC’s HRIS system by following established processes and procedures·     Develops and manages training processes and works on enhancing the process on a regular basis to create efficiency·     Coordinates with external training vendors to evaluate technical and content expertise through pre- training audit, compare training fees and delivery mechanisms thereby obtaining training courses, schedules, in order to recommend them to the various department heads for their requested trainings in cooperation with Procurement Department·     Arranges to deliver training sessions through external vendors to participants and guides them on course materials, hand-outs and other training related requirements ·     Delivers requested trainings and when applicable with appropriate training material using innovative techniques and best practices·     Measures training effectiveness of programs by trainee evaluation and post training audit and provides training feedback to the respective trainee and their reporting manager ·     Adheres to budgets in conjunction with department’s training budgets, tracks expenses and highlights concerns and issues on a regular basis by presenting periodic report to AVP – HR in cooperation with Finance Department·     Creates and coordinates the E-training modules and supervises the implementation process for URC·     Updates and maintains all job descriptions according to the latest organization chart and requested amendments by managers.·     Responsible for the Talent Management module in the HR System including Goal Settings and Performance Evaluation modules·     Works closely with Marketing Department on Student Internship program including induction training, office location, providing personal computer, attendance records, evaluation and certification ·      Acts as backup in case of absence or unavailability for Recruitment and Payroll as and when requested·     Performs other responsibilities and tasks as required or as directed by the reporting managerSelf-Management:·       Strives to achieve the highest levels of proficiency on all competencies and skills required to perform the role·       Sets performance goals in the beginning of the year after discussion with the line manager and ensures that the goals are achieved during the course of the yearIdentifies the training and development requirements for self and agrees on them with the line manager to ensure that the required training is arranged and attendedKey Internal Contacts:Purpose of Interaction: Department Heads URC Colleagues Finance  Procurement ·       To understand and collate the department’s training needs·        To identify their training needs and requirements·        To keep track of training budgets and training providers payments·        To follow up on the RFP’s and final agreements. Key External Contacts:Purpose of Interaction:   Training Vendors ·       To coordinate training programmes·        To build a robust training vendor database Supporting Institutes ·       To maintain contacts with institutes that provide financial aid for colleagues’ training & development (such as Manpower Government Restructuring Program and Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences)

Education:Bachelor's degree / higher diploma
